Similarly, both the PCA3 and MALAT1 scores were significantly higher in the PCa group compared to those in the patients with a negative prostate biopsy (Figure 3a, PCA3: p < 0.001; MALAT1: p < 0.001) and in the PCa group compared to those in the patients with nonaggressive disease (Figure 3b, PCA3: p < 0.001; MALAT1: p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene MALAT1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
