In addition to resistance to paclitaxel and doxorubicin in breast cancer, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors and radiotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and etoposide and topotecan in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) [16,17,18,19,20], alterations in miR-200c-3p expression levels have been reported to be responsible for the resistance to cisplatin in gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, and ovarian cancer [21,22,23].
