CRP and Thromboembolism: Compared with the non-COVID acute/subacute thromboembolic patient group (N = 40), serum D-dimer and CRP levels were found to be significantly higher and lymphocyte counts were significantly lower in COVID-19-positive acute/subacute thromboembolism cases (p = 0.02, 0.005, and <0.001, respectively) (Table 5) (Figure 5).
