Garnier et al. (2016) found that the expression of NK-1R in hepatitis B was elevated, and NK-1R can be used as a target for hepatitis B treatment. Previous studies in our laboratory have also confirmed that L-NAT could relieve the damage induced by cerebral ischemia, hypoxia and H2O2 in cerebral cortex neurons (Yu et al., 2013), hippocampal neurons (Jiang et al., 2011), striatal neurons (Zhai et al., 2013) and NSC-34 cell (Sirianni et al., 2015), etc. Recently, we also confirmed the protective effect of L-NAT on hepatocytes during HIRI (Yu et al., 2013; Jiang et al., 2011). This evidence concerns the gene TACR1 and hepatitis B virus infection.
