CD8A and atherosclerosis: Immunohistochemical staining showed the increased infiltration of CD8+ cells (1.36% ± 0.26% vs. 0.03% ± 0.01%, P = 0.002) and IFN-γ+ cells (1.83% ± 0.09% vs. 0.04% ± 0.01%, P < 0.001) in the aortic tissue of TAK patients, compared with the atherosclerosis patients (A-B).
