TNF and chronic kidney disease: This non‐dipping pattern of blood pressure is the common feature in hypertension associated with chronic kidney diseases (Kimura et al., 2010; Ohasi et al., 2017), a condition that is characterized by an enhancement in intrarenal AGT formation (Majid, Prieto, & Navar, 2015) as well as an increase in pro‐inflammatory cytokines, particularly TNF‐α (Afsar et al., 2018; Majid, Prieto, & Navar, 2015; Rodríguez‐Iturbe et al., 2014).
