Applying a threshold of a log2 fold change >2, most of the proteins enriched in C26 conditioned media (CM) belonged to cytoskeleton and/or were potentially involved in cell adhesion, migration, organization, and motility processes (CDH13, EZR, SPP1, S100A4, GSN, TGFBI, SDPR, MGP, and ARHGDIB), suggesting that they may be involved in cancer cell biology. This evidence concerns the gene S100A4 and cancer.
