Studies have shown that overexpression of miR-320 can down-regulate the expression of AQP1 (30) and SOX4 (31) genes and inhibit epithelial-mesenchymal transition and PI3K/AKT signaling pathway (32) by targeting ELF3 gene, thereby inhibiting the proliferation, metastasis, and invasion of breast cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene ELF3 and breast cancer.
