Concretely, m6A-related genes, including ALKBH5, EIF3A, FTO, HNRNPA2B1, HNRNPC, IGF2BP1, IGF2BP2, IGF2BP3, KIAA1429, METTL16, METTL3, RBM15, RBM15B, WTAP, YTHDC1, YTHDC2, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, and YTHDF3 (all p < 0.001), were dramatically higher in HCC specimens relative to adjacent normal liver samples. This evidence concerns the gene YTHDC1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
