Recent research has suggested that the CXCL10/CXCR3 axis may be associated with the promotion and induction of various types of cancers including breast cancer (15, 16), pancreatic cancer(PCC) (17), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (18, 19), melanoma (17), lymphoma (20), brain cancer (21), papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) (22), lung adenocarcinoma (23) and osteosarcoma (24). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and cancer.
