To investigate the mechanism of EMT regulation in BC, especially the role of METTL3 as a m6A methyltransferease in the development of BC through its effects on the METTL3/MALAT1/miR-26b axis, we sought in this study to identify the downstream target genes of miR-26b and their influences on EMT in BC. The gene discussed is MALAT1; the disease is breast cancer.
