The reported risk factors for poor prognosis in COVID-19 include old age, male sex, obesity, comorbidities such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus (DM), and biomarkers, including C-reactive protein (CRP) level, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) level, interleukin (IL)-6 level, ferritin level, D-dimer level, and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) [5–10]. Here, CRP is linked to cardiovascular disorder.
