Time to progression of CKD in dogs with FGF‐23 concentrations >528 pg/mL (median time, 391 days; 95% CI, 67‐522 days) was significantly shorter than that of dogs with FGF‐23 concentrations ≤528 pg/mL (median time was not reached during the study period; P < .001; Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene FGF23 and chronic kidney disease.
