The univariate Cox regression analysis showed that FGF‐23 >528 pg/mL, UN >29.2 mg/dL, and CKD stages 3‐4 were significantly associated with risk for development of hyperphosphatemia (P < .001, P = .003, and P = .01, respectively; Table 2). The gene discussed is FGF23; the disease is hyperphosphatemia.
