When these variables were included in the multivariate Cox regression analysis, FGF‐23 >528 pg/mL (HR, 11.33; 95% CI, 2.85‐44.98; P < .001), and potassium >5.1 mEq/L (HR, 12.74; 95% CI, 2.12‐76.73; P = .005) remained significantly associated with risk of CKD progression (Table 3). Here, FGF23 is linked to chronic kidney disease.
