The univariate Cox regression analysis showed that FGF‐23 >528 pg/mL, UN >29.2 mg/dL, potassium >5.1 mEq/L, and CKD stages 3‐4 were significantly associated with risk of CKD progression (P = .001, P = .03, P = .04, and P = .002, respectively; Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene FGF23 and chronic kidney disease.
