SKP2 and lymphoma: SKP2 overexpression is frequently observed in human cancer progression and metastasis, and evidence suggests that SKP2 plays a proto-oncogenic role both in vitro and in vivo.[5] SKP2 overexpression has been seen in lymphomas, prostate cancer, melanoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and breast carcinomas.[6–11] Additionally, the overexpression of SKP2 is correlated with a poor prognosis in breast cancer.[12] However, the function of SKP2 in gastric adenocarcinoma remains largely obscure.
