Because of the regulation of expression of several antioxidant enzymes such as GPX4, SOD2, and CAT by NRF2, it is not surprising that the elevated expression of NRF2 lead to increase in the expressions of antioxidant genes GPX4, SOD2, and CAT. One limitation of the current study was that the treatment was given to the infertile subjects for a duration of one month due to their lack of cooperation and limited resources for the study; however, the minimum time required for a complete cycle of spermatogenesis is 86 days.
