As expected, the levels of IFN-α and -β mRNA transcripts in brain homogenates of TRIF−/−xIPS-1−/− mice determined by reverse transcriptase droplet digital PCR were not affected after ZIKV infection (Supplementary Table 2) suggesting that no signaling pathways other than TLR3 and RIG-I/MDA-5 are involved in type I IFN production. This evidence concerns the gene TLR3 and Zika virus infectious disease.
