TGFB1 and cancer: In this analysis, we focused on subtypes common across cancer types: C7_MYH11 myofibroblasts with high expression of MYH11, C8_RGS5 pericytes involving in angiogenesis and vessel maturation, C9_CFD adipogenic fibroblasts with high expression of adipsin CFD, C10_COMP fibroblasts with high activity in transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) signaling and glycolysis pathways, and C11_SERPINE1 fibroblasts with high expression of genes involved in cell migration and wound healing.
