TRIM59 and lung cancer: Tripartite motif-containing 59 (TRIM59) is a new member of the tripartite motif family, and it is associated with a variety of tumors.[6,7] Studies have proved that TRIM59, as an oncogene, is up-regulated in lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer and other tumors.[8–10] Moreover, TRIM59 can promote the proliferation and migration of tumor cells through a variety of pathways.[6,11–13] TRIM59 is expected to be a new target for tumor diagnosis and treatment.
