TOX3 and polycystic ovary syndrome: A survey of 30 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome reported that the methylation of TOX3 gene promoter in serum and granulosa cells of patients was significantly lower than that in healthy volunteers, suggesting that abnormal methylation of TOX3 gene has a significant promoting effect on the occurrence of polycystic ovary syndrome (Ning, et al., 2017).
