In the detection of 26 patients with high-risk prostate cancer (Gleason score 8–10 or PSA> 20 ng/mL or clinical tumor extension ≥ T2c), the sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of lymph node metastases were 75% and 44.4%, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
