CRP and periodontitis: Combined diagnosis of periodontitis was associated with an increase of 80% of CRP (RoM [95% CI]: 1.80 [1.36; 2.38], p<0.0001, I2 = 99.4%) and of 109% of hs-CRP (RoM [95% CI]: 2.09 [1.78; 2.47], p<0.0001, I2 = 99.8%) when compared to healthy controls (Supplementary Figures 8–10).
