CRP and periodontitis: A diagnosis of aggressive periodontitis was associated with an increase of CRP of 191% (RoM [95% CI]: 2.91 [1.91; 4.44], p<0.0001, I2 = 98.6%) and of hs-CRP of 179% (RoM [95% CI]: 2.79 [1.68; 4.65], p<0.0001, I2 = 83.6%) when compared to controls (Table 1).
