In this study, five key genes including NKG7, SPTA1, FGL2, RGS2, and IFI27 displayed obvious differences in blood samples with sepsis-induced ARDS in comparison to those with sepsis alone in the two datasets, which suggested that these five genes were probably associated with the development of sepsis-induced ARDS. The gene discussed is NKG7; the disease is acute respiratory distress syndrome.
