FRYL and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: The MLL gene has over 35 partner genes, which produce chimeric proteins containing the N-terminus of MLL and C-terminus of its fusion partner gene, such as FRYL. We established for the first time the overexpression FRYL mRNA and protein in PCa, CRPC, and NEPC cell lines and tissues, further implicating FRYL as a putative oncogenic factor in cancers such as PCa and ALL.
