Cancer cells, including PCa cells, adapt their metabolism in response to changes in nutrients supply, hormonal status, growth factors stimuli as well as epi/genetic alterations in oncogenes (i.e., MYC, PI3K/AKT) or tumor suppressor genes (i.e., PTEN, p53, RB), commonly found in mCRPC, as comprehensively described in our recent review (31). Here, MYC is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
