In this study, a relationship was substantiated between MYH11 downregulation and the hypermethylation of its promoter in GC, and poorly expressed MYH11 was correlated with a poor prognosis and was intimately intertwined with tumor size, TNM stage, and lymph node metastasis of GC patients. This evidence concerns the gene MYH11 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
