CCR5 and hepatocellular carcinoma: To assess the abundance of ConT and MAIT cells in patients with HCC, we analysed a publicly available single-cell transcriptome dataset.[37], [38], [39] We generated UMAP dimension reduction plots and visualised the cell type and tissue compartment residency (left panel) together with the tissue distribution of the selected CCRs as shown in Fig. 3B. As noted, the mean CCR5 expression was low overall, with a broad distribution across the clusters of interest.
