As the HF rat model was established successfully, LVDs and LVDd diameters were notably elevated, meanwhile LVEF and LVFS were both withdrawn in the HF group (Figure 1(a), P < 0.05); the increased levels of BNP and NT-proBNP contents in plasma were demonstrated (Figure 1(b), P < 0.05), histopathology showed myocardial cell disorder and myocardial fiber rupture (Figure 1(c), P < 0.05), and collagen fibrin deposition leading to an increased myocardial fibrosis was observed (Figure 1(d), P < 0.05).
