High nuclear LIG1 was significantly associated with serous carcinoma (p < 0.0001), higher FIGO stage at presentation (p < 0.0001), higher tumour grade (p < 0.0001), sub-optimal debulking (p = 0.004) and residual tumour following surgery (p = 0.014) compared to tumours with low LIG1 expression. This evidence concerns the gene LIG1 and serous adenocarcinoma.
