Similarly, median CD3 T cells (347/μL, [IQR 188–536] vs 673/μL, [IQR 368–1,080], p < 0.001), median CD4 T cells (197/μL, [IQR 106–265] vs 405/μL, [IQR 222–661], p < 0.001), median CD8 T cells (134/μL, [IQR 87–231] vs 268/μL, [IQR 133–461], p < 0.001) and median CD19 B cells (76/μL, [IQR 35–140] vs 130/μL, [IQR 67–227], p < 0.001), that is lymphocyte subsets possibly linked with mortality in sepsis, based on evidence in other settings, revealed significant association, as shown in Table 2.
