IL6 and Cognitive impairment: Those with cognitive impairment had more proinflammatory diets (2.2 (0.3) vs. 1.1 (0.1), p = 0.001), and significantly higher IL-6 concentrations (4.1 (0.8) vs. 2.5 (0.2), p = 0.004) than women with normal cognitive function.
