Because CI is evident to amplify hematopoietic ARS and gastrointestinal ARS,4 we hypothesized that 1) CI results in greater brain hemorrhage than radiation alone, and 2) treatment with Ghrelin in the presence of pegylated G-CSF is effective in mitigating brain hemorrhage from RI and CI.
