In this study, 3 months after treatment, the levels of tumor markers (AFP, AFP-L3, and GP73) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05), indicating that iodine-125 seed implantation combined with chemotherapy is beneficial to reduce the level of tumor markers in patients with primary liver cancer and is conducive to the recovery of patients. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and neoplasm.
