Three VFs were highly prevalent in the ESBL/AmpC-EC isolates, namely pyelonephritis-associate pilus C, papC (OR: 19.8, 95% CI: 2.54–153.45, p < 0.05), serine protease pic autotransporter, pic (OR: 19.6, 95% CI: 1.16–330.30, p < 0.05), and outer membrane protease T, ompT (OR: 1.9, 95% CI: 1.00–3.64, p < 0.05), compared with the non-ESBL/AmpC-EC isolates (Table 1). Here, PCDH8 is linked to pyelonephritis.
