DUSP5 and familial dilated cardiomyopathy: Xu et al. found that selective inhibitor RGFP966 of HDAC3 ameliorated diabetes-induced fibrosis and deterred the development of DCM by obstructing the enhanced phosphorylated ERK1/2, and upregulating dual specificity phosphatase 5 (DUSP5) expression through increased acetylated histone H3 on the primer region of DUSP5 gene (26).
