NFKB1 and asthma: Picroside II is one of the most effective components extracted from P. kurroa, which affects the autophagic pathway in modulating the progression of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) via inhibiting NF-κB, TNF-α, and SIRT1, suggesting that the autophagy pathway provides a new insight into asthma treatment using Picrorhiza kurroa.
