In order to explore whether DDX27 affects the stem cell-like characteristics in breast cancer, we analyzed the association between DDX27 and OCT4 in 165 breast cancer patients by IHC staining and confirmed that DDX27 was positively related to the expression level of OCT4 (p < 0.0001, r = 0.428, Fig. 4a–c). The gene discussed is POU5F1; the disease is breast cancer.
