To determine whether sorghum bran extracts (HP, SC, and Sumac) inhibit the TNF-α-stimulated NF-κB pathway, we transfected NF-κB luciferase reporter genes into human colon cancer cells and treated with 2.5 mg/mL of sorghum extracts in the presence or absence of TNF-α. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and colonic neoplasm.
