We used ipatasertib (AKT inhibitor) [41], which has already been tested for triple-negative breast cancer [42]; everolimus (mTOR inhibitor), alpelisib (PI3K inhibitor) [43,44], palbociclib (CDK4/6 inhibitor) [45], fulvestrant (estrogen receptor antagonist) [46,47], that have been approved for hormone receptor positive breast cancer treatment, and the BH3 mimetics S63845 (MCL-1 inhibitor) [33] and ABT-199 (BCL-2 inhibitor) [35], which are currently being explored in clinical trials. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is breast cancer.
