Indeed, we found that the absence of activating mutations in Wnt/β-catenin pathway genes, a high CD8+ TIL volume and PD-L1 expression were associated with long progression-free survival of HCC patients on anti-PD-1 antibody therapy, regardless of the expression of other inhibitory receptors, such as TIM-3 and LAG-3 [69].
