As illustrated in Figures 5(A–D), the expression of BAMBI in the LPS + TGF-β1 group was lower than that in the control group, whereas the administration of curcumin further facilitated the reduction in BPH-1 cells induced by the combined treatment of TGF-β1 and LPS according to the results of PCR, western blotting, and fluorescence immunohistochemistry. The gene discussed is TGFB1; the disease is benign prostatic hyperplasia.
