TP53 and neoplasm: The activation of NF-ĸB promotes the expression of more than 400 different genes, most of which are involved in the cell regulation process, including cytokines for the cell inflammatory response, adhesion molecules, angiogenic factors (i.e., vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1)) responsible for the metastatic capacity of tumor cells, and molecules that regulate the cell cycle and apoptosis, e.g., p53 factor [57,58].
