INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Our findings show that deh-T3β enhances both in vitro and in vivo wound healing, induces the formation of new capillary blood vessels in in vitro systems, and increases mRNA expression of growth factors PDGFB and VEGFA. Furthermore, it improves kidney function, liver function by reducing liver steatosis, heart recovery after ischemic reperfusion injury, and insulin sensitivity in adipose tissue in a mice model of type 2 diabetes.
