The K3326X mutation was associated with increased risk of breast cancer (OR = 1.28, 95% CI = 1.17 to 1.40) independent of additional BRCA2 mutations and demonstrated strong association with serous ovarian cancer (OR = 1.46, 95% CI = 1.2 to 1.70), but not with prostate cancer [64].
