Among these, a 1.2 Mb region at 5p15.33, harboring the TERT and CLPTM1L genes, showed significant local genetic correlations across six pairs of cancers, including breast (overall and estrogen receptor [ER]-negative), colorectal, glioma, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, and prostate cancer.
