Among them, the mRNA expression level of ITGA5 was positively correlated with the abundance of fibroblasts (r = 0.47, p < 0.0001), endothelial cells (r = 0.44, p < 0.0001), and monocytes (r = 0.35, p < 0.0001), suggesting that ITGA5 may participate in the pathogenesis of scleroderma through these cells. Here, ITGA5 is linked to scleroderma.
