High expression of SCARF1 in Grade 2 HCC tumors was again indicative of improved overall survival (HR = 0.47, 95% CI = 0.27–0.81, p ≤ 0.05; Figure 3D) and progression-free survival (HR = 0.55, 95% CI = 0.34–0.89, p ≤ 0.05; Figure 3F), but showed no effect on disease-free survival (Figure 3E). The gene discussed is SCARF1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
