SCARF1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: With regards to histological grade of HCC tumors, a higher SCARF1 expression was strongly associated with better overall survival (HR = 0.21, 95% CI = 0.07–0.68, p ≤ 0.005; Figure 3D) and progression-free survival (HR = 0.38, 95% CI = 0.17–0.86, p ≤ 0.05; Figure 3F) in Grade 1 tumors, but held no prognostic value for disease-free survival (Figure 3E).
