Note that each one-year increase in BioAge1 and BioAge2 was associated with 3% (HR 1.03; 95%CI 1.00–1.06; p = 0.08) and 5% (HR 1.05; 95%CI 1.02–1.08; p = 0.001) elevated risk of dementia, respectively, after adjusting for chronological age, APOE status and gender.
