The number of CaV2.1 spots neighboring Homer1 appositions (p = 0.60, Student's t test; Fig. 11B) and total number of spots facing BC (p = 0.87, Student's t test; Fig. 11B) were unaltered at the confocal level, which is consistent with finding normal presynaptic Ca2+ influx (Fig. 4).
