To validate the result found in aforementioned in vitro experiments in the clinical cohort, we analyzed the mRNA levels of E2F1 and QSOX2 in TCGA-NSCLC datasets using bioinformatic analysis and examined the protein levels of these molecules in primary NSCLC samples and matched adjacent normal lung tissue samples (28 pairs in NSCLC cancers cohort 4) by IHC.
