PAWR (pro-apoptotic WT1 regulator) is a pro-apoptotic gene that was among the top differentially expressed genes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from multiple sclerosis (MS) patients and might be involved in the regulation of MS (Comabella et al., 2016; Ghoveud et al., 2020). The gene discussed is PAWR; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
